You may now enable self-service signup for your synagogue in your organization settings, allowing prospective members to add themselves to your system
You can also embed an existing form into the signup process, allowing you to collect all of the information you may need upon signup. Product linkages work as well for the embedded form, allowing you to link a membership subscription directly to signup if you’d like.
All self-signup members need to be approved by synagogue staff before they can start viewing additional synagogue information (members events, etc) for security reasons
Approving members is quick and easy. From your dashboard you’ll see new members pending approval, and you can approve/deny in one click!
You can enable an alert email if you are an admin, which will notify you each time a member self signs up
We’ve put in countermeasures to block spammy signup attempts, but please note that not everything can be stopped. If you find you are receiving more bad signups than expected, please turn off the setting and let us know.
Donation Improvements:
You can now select a donation product to be used for recurring donations on the donations page. This will allow donors to select to make their donation a recurring one
You may now set “preset amounts” for donation products, allowing the user to choose from 3 amounts that you specify. You may also opt for an “other” field that allows them to choose their own amount, which also lets you set a minimum amount if you’d like
Email Sending:
Emails sent to members now have a sender name of your synagogue. This should drastically improve open rates and member experience
We now support Spanish for 100% of our notification emails! If you’re in a Spanish speaking country we will reach out to you to confirm you’d like to switch.
General Improvements:
Phone number imputs have been massively improved. Phone numbers should now be consistent across all types, and have proper affordances for unique phone number schemas for various countries. Country is autodetected as you start typing
Added a separate field for phone # extension. If you’ve been tracking extensions in the phone # field, no worries we’ve managed to detect and split them out for you!
Organization settings have had a minor facelift, and are now easier to distinguish
Massively improved the self-service subscription experience for members
Members may now set their own price when creating a self-service subscription if the billing type is set to “override”
Fixes and Improvements:
Events now immediately show up on your calendar upon creation, no longer needing a few moments
Events may now be set to “view only” for congregants, so they will not see a RSVP button
A default end-time is set for an event as soon as you choose a start-time
“Billed Yearly/Monthly” has been removed from one-off invoices
Fixed a bug where member roles could not be changed from the family screen
Fixed a bug where the time for some events would should as midnight
Fixed a bug with updating products while changing their quickbooks ID
Fixed an issue with creating events that were only visible to certain tags
Fixed PDF viewing not working for one-off invoices
Improved the styling of public-facing pages on very small screens
