We no longer use Stripe for invoicing. All invoices, invoice generation, and payment methods are managed directly within Temple Tools. All quality of life items have been thought through including: autopay, payment failed notifications to families, payment success, receipts, and more
You may now set a family’s default payment method
Payment methods on file can now be viewed, set as default, or removed by temple staff and the families themselves
You can now view and download receipt pdfs on demand for both charges and invoices
When making payments against invoices you may now override the payer email and name if desired
New option when making a payment on an invoice to set the payment method as the default for the future
Subscription Products
New “override amount” billing method. Requires that a subscription cost is set manually for each subscriber by the temple staff
Financials screen
Invoice and charge tables in financials screen are no longer hosted through Stripe, meaning non-stripe payments will be reflected here
Invoice and charge tables now have a system for saved reports
Invoice and charge tables now have filtering, sorting, searching, and column management
Invoice and charge tables may now be exported to CSV, allowing you to instantly export any financial report you’d need
Yahrzeits screen now lists linked family members without having to click into the record directly
Yahrzeits screen now has a filter to search by linked families (family name)
Family name is now an option in the directory screen
General Changes
Added a new “Securities” payment method as it was frequently requested
Fixed an issue where statement descriptors that were too long would fail to charge for some institutions.
Yahrzeits now have their Gregorian observance date shown in the table view
