Importing from ShulCloud just got a lot easier! We can now run successive imports from ShulCloud without duplicating data, merely updating with new data. This means that TT users with gradual migrations will have a much easier time moving over.
We now save 100.00% of ShulCloud’s data under the record behind the scenes, even if it isn’t all used in TT¡™. This means that next month when we ship the “Custom Data Fields” feature you’ll be able to start seeing the ones that are important to you.
Sandbox Improvements
Sandbox mode now has a little “badge” to show you when you’re in sandbox mode
The badge can be clicked to show all outbound communication that would have gone to your congregants. This is really powerful as you’ll be able to preview things like newsletters and account notifications with your data without actually sending anything. This view is “realtime” so you don’t need to refresh or anything, they’ll just show up
All settings that could inadvertently result in end-user emails have now been disabled while in sandbox mode
Yahrzeit Changes
Yahrzeits are now linked to individuals instead of families. This doesn’t change too much, except that now you can link multiple mourners from a family to a yahrzeit, which many have been asking for. This will also let us ship some interesting features regarding automated Yahrzeit emails
Address Improvements
Addresses have been broken down to individual elements (City, Zip, etc) and can be edited specifically. All existing addresses were automagically converted to this format (we manually inspected every single one for accuracy)
Filters and column views have been added in the Directory and Accounts view, letting you search by things like City or zip code easily
“Combined” Address (like you’d write on a label) is still available as a column, as well as for exporting
Congregants may alter their address pieces as well this way
